Helping you navigate through your grief, loss and trauma.

What is of utmost importance for me is to provide a safe environment for individuals to share and explore the struggles that they are experiencing.

I practice with an integrative approach, drawing from cognitive behavioural, interpersonal, narrative, and trauma-informed therapies. I ensure that the techniques I am drawing upon best fit the needs/goals that the client brings to the therapeutic relationship.

I have been providing support to a wide range of individuals with a variety of concerns for over 15 years. While working and pursuing education in the mental health field, I became particularly interested with experiences related to grief, bereavement, trauma and other forms of loss. I provide client centered counselling and psychotherapy for adults and young adults based on individual requests and needs. I also have experience with working alongside individuals and their families who have been impacted by cancer.

About me

Education

I graduated with a Bachelors of Social Work from Ryerson University in 2009 and obtained my Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto – Ontario Institute for Studies in Education in 2013. While working on my first Masters, I discovered a desire to specialize in grief, bereavement and trauma. I hold three specialization certificates: Bereavement Education, and Grief and Trauma Counselling, both from the University of Toronto’s Factor-Inwentash School of Social Work and a Trauma Certificate from Wilfrid Laurier University. I also completed my Masters of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2020.
